My Values
I’m a mum with two boys and l love children, so working in Family Day Care suits me. I value family life. I provide a safe, friendly, happy, fun environment where children can grow, learn, develop at their own level. I love working with children seeing them having fun and watching them learn new and exciting things. I find supporting children’s growth and development very rewarding.
A day in my Care
Our day consists of lots of interactions laughing, talking, singing and dancing. I have a very large outdoor play area where children can choose from a variety of experiences including; sand play, riding bikes, trikes and scooters as well as playdough and craft activities.
Lunch time gives the children and my myself a great opportunity to interact and share some stories with each other. Lunch is a lovely occasion where we learn social skills such as listening and taking turns as well developing language and self help skills.
After lunch, depending on each child’s needs, children can either have a sleep or a quiet rest.
In the afternoon we sing nursery rhymes and dance to our favourite songs. I also read the children books so if you have a favourite book that you would like to share please bring it along.
