My Values

I’m a mum with two boys and l love children, so working in Family Day Care suits me very well.

I value family life. I provide a safe, friendly, nurturing, happy, enjoyable environment where children can grow, learn, and develop at their own level -- and have fun doing it!

I love working with children, seeing them having fun and watching them learn new and exciting things.

 I find supporting children’s growth and development personally very rewarding.

A day in my care

Our day consists of lots of interaction: laughing, talking, singing and dancing.

I have a very large outdoor play area where children can choose from a variety of experiences, including sand play, riding bikes, trikes and scooters, as well as playing with playdough, and engaging in craft activities.

Lunch time gives the children and me a great opportunity to interact and to share some stories with each other.

Lunch is a lovely occasion at which we learn social skills such as listening and taking turns, as well developing language and self-help skills.

After lunch, depending on each child’s needs, children can either have a sleep or a quiet rest.

In the afternoon, we sing nursery rhymes and dance to our favorite songs. I also read the children books -- so if you have a favourite book that you would like the children to share, please bring it along.
