My Values

I believe family day care provides a fantastic environment for children to develop socially and intellectually in a safe, comfortable and familiar space. Because the number of children is small, we are able to identify your child's unique abilities and interests.  We create an environment and experiences to allow children to develop and enjoy life while safe and secure.

I am passionate that children learn the importance of caring for others and sharing with friends. These are principles that I constantly reiterate.

I also believe that communication with families is incredibly important (be it the text to reassure all is well or the daily journal).

I will always assure that children’s individual needs are recognised and respected. Above all I find caring for children incredibly rewarding and most of all FUN.

A day in my care

Children learn best through play and I will always ‘go’ with what the children are interested in doing.

On arrival children have a choice of free play, (this will often include my children before they head off to school).

After morning tea – weather permitting we will head to the park for swings and slippery slides! Then we will enjoy an indoor or outdoor craft/sport activity depending on the weather, After lunch and nap time it is time to stimulate our imaginations with books and dress-ups.

We have a large shaded area for outside fun and games and letting off steam. I encourage the children to eat at the same time and promote a happy healthy eating programme keep a daily dairy and take lots of pics so you can be sure your child is happy!
