My Values |
|
Above all I value our strong family unit; this is an important ingredient in the fabric of society. We maintain a healthy lifestyle through organic nutrition and favour the many alternative therapies that are available to us today. I am fully aware that health has priority over everything not just in the physical but also at other levels, without this important formula life can not be absorbed at its fullest. I feel strongly that children should be able to express themselves freely without any burdens and handicaps that creep into our lives as we mature. This freedom of expression helps to create the true spirit of the child without suppressions and fears.

A day in my care |
|
In a day I will endeavour to be a guide for the children with care and compassion as they endure the absence of their parents. The mornings will start slowly with gentle stretching and singing to allow for a settling in period with no pressures. This will be followed by free play until morning tea which will be at 9.30. During morning tea we will all sit together and share each other’s stories. At 10.00 we will begin craft time where the children have an opportunity to paint, draw, use play doh and do lots of craft with cutting and gluing. At 11.00 we begin clean up and wash up which then takes us to story time in the pillow corner before we stop for lunch. After consuming lunch we have rest time. The afternoon is spent free playing and burning some energy before we have afternoon tea at 3.00. We will then have time for some drawing and puzzles before we get ready for home time.
Throughout
the day it will be my goal to create fun and laughter in a safe
nurturing environment. |
