My Values

My aim is to provide a safe, caring and fun environment for your child where they can feel nurtured, loved, happy and stimulated.  They will have the opportunity to learn as they play with a variety of toys and equipment. I also try to encourage their development physically, socially and emotionally with activities both structured and spontaneous.

Most importantly, I love having children around me and want them to love coming to Day Care so will do everything possible to ensure that is the case.

A day in my care

Every day will have a basic structure but will be adaptable and take into account the weather, the children’s ages and moods and their current interests.

As the children are dropped off we will have “free play” where they can choose what they would like to do. (They may just want to play with the toys, dress up, read books, play outside on the climbing fort, colour-in, etc…)

Mid morning we have morning tea which is a great opportunity to chat about what we will do for the rest of the day.
After tea, we might go for a trip to the local park or the library. If staying at home we may do a craft activity or group singing and dancing.

Then we’ll have lunch.

After lunch is story time when we read books together and get ready for quiet time so that we can recharge our batteries with a nap or a rest, ready for the afternoon.

After afternoon tea we will go outside again to feed the chickens and Bugsy, the duck.

Then it is “free play” time again until the children are collected.
