My Values

Family is what I value above everything. I believe choosing Family Day Care offers parents true family values within a home environment.

Children and parents need to feel safe in their surroundings and I offer your children just that. One on one attention is guaranteed everyday.

Children are treated as part of my family, and are included and given the same loving treatment as others. All are equals, and I like parents to give me as much information about their child, to help assist with smooth daily care.
 

A day in my care

Welcome to our home in Jay Crescent which is a very quiet cul-de-sac.  We  live on a 1/2 acre of beautiful gardens for exploring and green lush grass for rolling and playing.  

I believe it is in all children’s interests to be involved in choosing inside and outside activities, giving there be a mixture of Fun and Learning. I believe a Weekly Activity Roster serves better than a Daily Activity Roster. 

A Weekly Roster allows the children to help choose a whole range of fun and learning activities for each day and helps in unpredictable weather conditions.   A Daily Roster sets the day's full plans, but this way the children are almost set to do what I have advised parents.

I feel this way creates a more homely feeling for children, but still offers access weekly to all types of activities.  Outdoor play offers a huge Sandpit, Enclosed Trampoline, Swings, Ball games and Water Play.  Painting, Drawing and Craft activities will also be outside in the cool Bay breezes.  Indoors we can all Snooze, Read Books, Dance to Music (inside or out), Blocks, Puzzles, Excursions to the Park, and Playgroup where possible -- and let us not forget Pancake-Making!

I don't believe in restricting activities to inside or outside.  If it's too hot inside, we all go outside to the full surrounding verandas.  Sleep and Meal times, I try to keep as close to your child's routine as possible.
