My aim is to provide a safe and loving environment where children can grow, learn and develop to their full potential.

I love working with children and try to provide a comfortable space for them with plenty of interesting activities that are matched to their age and level of development.

Supporting children while they discover life, grow and develop is very rewarding. Having four children of my own, I understand what it is like trying to find a child care facility that you feel comfortable with and one that your child feels safe and secure in.

In my family day care home, your child will have more one on one attention and affection than in a big daycare centre.  He or she will also have the activities they need to develop and grow.

A day in my care

Children are welcomed in the mornings and are assisted in the settling in process. I drop my children off to school in the mornings and then come home and have morning tea. Then the children can choose from a variety of indoor activities including play dough, blocks, painting, art and craft. We also attend playgroup on a regular basis. This provides the children with an opportunity to interact with other children and carers. After indoor activities or playgroup, the children all sit down together and eat their lunch. Then after lunch the children have sleep time or rest time. The afternoon involves picking up my school-aged children, afternoon tea and free play.
