POLICY

Care Providers will provide positive role models for children at all times.

PROCEDURE

• Carers will ensure that no one in contact with the children will be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time whilst children are in care

• The Care Provider will not smoke, consume alcohol or take drugs in the presence of children whilst they are in the Care Provider’s care. This includes the time after children are signed out of care, and before the parent leaves the Care Provider’s home with the child.
