My Values

I value my family above everything and anything; they are my number one priority in life. I believe if you chose to use Family Day Care that you also have the same values as my-self. In choosing family day care you are giving your children the opportunity to be in a safe home environment and the feeling that they belong to a family not unlike their own. It also opens up the social interaction and learning experiences to help them grow in society. I respect that every child and family is entitled to their beliefs and I will respect their wishes. Children will be cared for in a safe and loving environment. They will be encouraged to interact with others and learn through the different activities both inside and outside of the home.
 

A day in my care

 
My programs will include both indoor and outdoor play and on occasions special excursions. I would love the children to go to the weekly playgroup so they can interact with other children and learn new activities which I feel will be very rewarding.
Outdoor activities will include playing on play equipment, activity gym, sand pit, water play, tunnels, ball games, painting and age appropriate activities.
Indoors activities will include reading, puzzles, drawing, craft, dress ups, play dough, quite time, dancing, educational games, DVDs etc just to name a few. All activities will be suited to the child’s age.
I will encourage learning and social interactions within their age limits and our activities will be fun. All children need to have fun, so I believe if you can encourage children to enjoy what they are doing they will have fun while they learn.
Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snack times will be provided at appropriate times as well as rest times, and activities will be organized around these times. I believe that children need a routine and will endeavour to keep as close to your routines as possible.
