My Values

My aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children can grow and reach their full potential.

My background in Education helps me to plan effective activities that allow the children in my care to develop in all their skill areas.

I have two preschool children at home who love to mix and socialise with children of all ages.

As a parent, I understand how important it is to provide daily communication to parents so they feel involved in their child’s day.
 

A day in my care

As the children are welcomed, the day starts with indoor free play until everyone has arrived.

Following a group activity, we sit down for morning tea to discuss the day ahead.

Mid morning gives time and opportunity for park visits, baking, painting, and crafts – all those activities that take a little longer.

Lunch is eaten together, either around the family table or in the form of a picnic.

After lunch we have rest or quiet time to allow the children to recharge their batteries. Once the children have rested, we share in storytime/songtime before afternoon tea.

The rest of the afternoon is devoted to indoor free play until hometime.

We attend Redlands Playgroup on Friday morning.
