My Values

The opportunity to work from home and providing children with lots of love and care inspired me to do Family Day Care. I provide a safe, happy, fun environment in a warm, positive family atmosphere.

I believe it is important to have a respect for other cultures as we live in a multi-cultural society. I am a Mum with three boys and I love watching children have fun and learn new exciting things.

Children in my care have many opportunities to learn through play, exploration and interaction with others.

A day in my care

A day in my care is packed with adventure and fun activities that assist in the overall education and development of each child and will be age appropriate.

My program includes outdoor and indoor play and on occasions special excursions. When applicable and possible, weekly playgroup will be attended where children will engage in cultural experiences and interact with a larger group of children.

Activities include painting, play dough, home corner, dress ups, drawing, collage, puzzles, books, games, singing, dancing, instruments, skipping, sand, water, cooking and gardening.

We are opposite a large, safe park where active games can be played, picnics can be held and swinging and climbing can be enjoyed.

Through these activities I will be observing your child and recording information for future planning and programming. I am very flexible and I cater for the children’s needs and interests first.
