My Values
Children and family are very important to me.
I have two children age 3 and 4. I have chosen to do family day care so I can look after my own children while at the same time offering a safe and homely environment for the other children.
My children love to have playmates so family day care is perfect for us. Each child in my care will be cared for in a loving, nurturing environment and will have access to a wide range of learning experiences.
A day in my Care
I aim for a day in my care to be a fun and positive experience for all children. I provide age appropriate activities for each child in my care. A day will involve inside and outside activities with regular outings to the park and playgroup. Meals and rest times will be provided at the appropriate times according to each child’s individuals needs.
We have a beautiful shady outdoor area with a sandpit, seesaw, swings, climbing frame and more. The children love to do “cooking” in the sandpit. Running races, making cubbies, hide and seek are also popular. We have a cubby house where the children play with dolls, tea sets and dress up clothes.Inside activities include blocks, lego, puzzles, singing, music, train sets, playing shops and lots more.
I understand the importance of reading to children and have a large collection of books. We also love to do arts and crafts, including painting, drawing, play dough, collage and lots more. We often visit the local park and go to playgroup at least once a week.
Above all I want a day in my care to be fun and for the child to feel happy and comfortable.
