My Values
The opportunity to work from home in my chosen field, as well as being able to be there for my own family has led me to Family Day Care. I offer a warm and nurturing family atmosphere, while presenting fun learning opportunities within a safe and caring environment. I believe it is important to have a respect for other cultures as we live in a multi-cultural society. Above all else, I believe children need lots of positive attention, kind words and cuddles in their daily lives.
A day in my Care
Daily activities are always flexible and dependent upon children’s ages , interests and abilities. Our day may start with a variety of activities including drawing, building blocks, puzzles and reading. We then head off for a morning walk to Manly West Primary School.
On our return its time for us to sit together for morning tea and a chat. Next comes our outdoor play which may incorporate ball play, sand pit, swings, exploring the garden, play dough and painting. After our busy morning it time for lunch. Then its time for a story and rest or quiet time while listening to the soothing sounds of relaxation music.
Upon waking its afternoon tea time before taking a walk to Manly West Primary. When we get home we have some more fun outdoor activities together. After this its time to pack up and prepare for going home.
