My Values

I am a firm believer in family, with two children of my own I have had seventeen years experience taking care of my family through various ages and stages. Becoming a Family Day Care Mum seemed a natural progression to me, extending our home to be a 'home away from home' for your child.

I am delighted to be able to provide other Mums the opportunity to feel that they have a safe, loving environment for their children to grow and learn.

A day in my care

Our day is jam-packed with learning through play activities, singing (mostly out of tune by me) dancing, ball play, craft, dress ups, drawing, blocks, cuddles and storytelling will be a basic part of the day, activities are only limited by our imagination, dependent on the individual needs of your child and of course, their stage of development.

Mornings will be time to settle in, get comfy have some fun and decide how your child is feeling that day. We will always have a snack break in the morning and afternoon to keep little bodies alert and happy.

Lunch is a fun time learning to develop social skills and take turns. This will usually be followed by a refreshing nap getting us ready for the afternoon, relaxed and recharged we can further develop our skills in the play room which is purpose built for learning through free play.

Afternoons will include our snack break and some outside play as it is the coolest part of the day in summer and the warmest in winter, these activities will also be designed for learning and may include gardening, painting, and discovering our environment to name a few.
