My Values

I believe caring for children is a very important job. We are not only nurtures but role models as well.

I believe in building confidence in children so they feel safe in their environment to explore and learn at a pace they feel at ease with.

I believe all children are individuals and have individual needs while learning alongside each other in a shared environment

A day in my care

SETTLING IN:

This can sometimes be hard on both children and families. From personal experience I have found that easing children into the environment can make this easier for everyone.

If you are able to come in a few times before your child starts care this can help them adjust to our home and the other children they will be spending their days with.

Any security attachments they have are welcome as well (blankets, teddy, pacifiers).

Please call as many times as you need to in the first few weeks it’s not just a adjustment time period your child but for you as well.

A DAY IN MY CARE:

We will have a relaxing morning inside until 8.30 am when we will go for a walk to Wynnum West state school to drop tom off.

When we arrive back home its time for morning tea then fun activities which will include many different things such as painting, home corner, drawing, play-dough, dancing, musical instruments, building blocks, dress ups and much more.

After play time we will then have lunch around 11.30 am followed by rest time where we will read stories and rest quietly listening to relaxing music.

After rest time, it's time for another fun walk to pick Tom up from school, then back home for afternoon tea.

It should then be cool enough for outside playtime which includes the sandpit, swings, roller coaster ride, balls, a little climbing castle, ride on bikes and other fun activities.
