My Values

Growing up, my parents instilled very high values in me and I am so thankful that they did! Having two beautiful girls of my own, I can now pass those values on to them and make a real difference in their lives.

That is why I am so passionate and excited about the opportunity to care for your child in my home. I absolutely love my little girls and I would love to share that love with your child.

I believe it is important to listen to our children and show them we care with kindness and respect. I believe children mimic our behavior and for that reason being a good role model is vital. I believe the best way to learn is from your own experience. It is very important for me to ensure your child is safe and to teach them how to stay safe.

I believe children need boundaries. I believe a home should be filled with warmth and love and I hope you will feel that in mine.

I will provide quality care for your children and my programs will be tailored to each child’s age, skills and interests. I want to instill confidence in your child and teach them skills to deal with the challenges of life now and later on. In our home cuddles are not optional — they are essential!
 

A day in my care

Our days are filled with lots of opportunities to learn and have  fun at the same time! There are plenty of opportunities to read books, do puzzles, arts ,crafts, play dough, dress-ups, running, jumping, climbing, dancing, riding, singing, water play and learning to share, listen and socialize.

I love cooking! -- so you can be sure that we will be baking from time to time!

I am sure that your children will enjoy playing in the lovely raised cubby and sandpit underneath as much as my own children do.

I might include a movie and popcorn every so often.

Morning/afternoon tea may be at the table or maybe today we will enjoy a picnic under the shade of the beautiful big palm trees.

Rest time is very important and your child is most welcome to bring along something to cuddle!

Exploring the world around us will be a lot of fun, we might even take a nature walk nearby.  Playgroup and outings to the park will be filled with special memories. Not forgetting time to learn our ABC’s and 123’s!
