I am a Mum to two girls who are 6 and
4. I love children and have quite a few years of experience in
looking after other people's children, as I have been a Nanny
and an Au-Pair. I provide a safe and happy environment, where
children can grow, learn, develop and most of all be themselves.
I love watching children learn -- their faces are so wonderful
when they discover something new or amazing!
I love to facilitate that experience. Children have the most
amazing imaginations; I love to help them expand their world,
and make it more real for them.
I also find supporting children's growth and development very
rewarding.

Our day consists of lots of laughter and fun exciting things to do
which will help your child develop into a well-balanced individual.
I have a dedicated day care room which includes a quiet area for the
children to sit and enjoy a book or just rest. There is an area for
dressing up for lots of role play. I have a large undercover area
outside which is used for messy play such as water play, painting or
Play Dough. There is also a cubby house in my garden which I use as
the home corner. There are scooters and bikes for the children to
play on.
In the mornings, after the school run, the children can choose from
either indoor play or if the weather permits they can play outside.
I use this time to work with the children individually, planning
monthly activities, trips to the playgroup or other child focused
outings.
Lunchtime gives us all a chance to sit and eat together which
teaches the children social skills and taking turns. After lunch the
activities depend on each child's individual needs of having a sleep
or just quiet time.
In the afternoon once sleeps are done, and we have collected the
school children, we all share afternoon tea, and then the children
are free to engage in activities that they themselves select.
