my values

Being a 'Stay-at-Home' Mum while raising two daughters has been challenging yet rewarding. I have learned through trial and error that balance, routine, fair discipline, perseverance and consistency are very important in the home and every day life.

I also know that one has to have good time management and organizational skills for the home routine to run smoothly. I believe that children need balance in their lives. There is a time and place for everything. Although children should be allowed to be children, they should be taught life skills as well.

I believe that everyone should be treated equally and fairly, I believe that need lots of love, praise and encouragement in a nurturing, safe, positive, stimulating, and fun environment in order for them to grow up happy, confident, responsible and caring individuals.

I also believe that each child is a unique individual with their own interests, likes, dislikes, gifts, talents and should be encouraged and praised for their efforts and accomplishments.

I would like to think of myself as a friendly, caring, patient and open minded person who has a great love for children and values family life and traditions. I choose to be a day-care mum because it offers my family and me flexibility. My home is very friendly, safe and fun. Thank you -- we hope you can visit us.

A day in my care

A day in my care includes lots of fun activities based around your child’s interest, and age: for example, painting, sand play, play dough, dressing up, puzzles, and music.

We may attend playgroup and library story time giving your children the opportunity to socialize with other children.

We have a wonderful park not far from home where I take the children for morning teas picnics and play.

I have a routine but am flexible on some days depending on your child's moods and needs.

I observe, record, and share with you on a daily basis, your child’s favourite activities, new experiences and milestones (toilet, food, and intake).

My family and I look forward to sharing our home with you.
