My Values

My aim is to provide a safe and loving environment where children can grow, learn and develop to their full potential. I love working with children and try to provide a comfortable space for them with plenty of interesting activities that are matched to their age and level of development. Supporting children while they discover life, grow and develop is very rewarding.
 

A day in my care

When children first come into my care they often miss their parents. I try to make the process of settling in as easy as possible for them. It would help if your child has any special toy or blanket to bring it along to make them feel more at home.

I offer children activities that help them to develop and grow as individuals and, just as importantly, activities that they will enjoy.

They include:

• Arts and crafts (painting, cutting and gluing to promote fine motor development);

• Outdoor play – play gym, sandpit, cubby house;

• Trips to the park – playing on equipment, climbing frame, tunnel, slide, running to promote physical development;

• Playgroup, where there is a strong emphasis on inclusiveness and cultural diversity;

• Story time, singing both to encourage language, pre-literacy skills and an enjoyment of reading;

• Dramatic play where children use their imaginations.
