My Values
My greatest personal value is family. I also value the importance of a safe and happy environment.
As a carer I provide a warm, caring and safe environment where children can laugh and have fun!
It’s important to provide fun, warmth, patience, sensitivity and encouragement for the children to develop independence, self esteem and creative expression. It’s known children learn through play and so I value the opportunity to provide the play tools for their development.
Communication is vital in Family Day Care. The ability to have open and honest lines of communication with families; will only enhance the relationship and together we can provide the best care possible for your child.
A day in my Care
Our day will consist of Fun, Fun, Fun!
We’ll commence the day together with breakfast and indoor play, this could be play dough, drawing, puzzles, home corner, cars and trains - the list is endless.
As the morning warms up we can head to the outdoors where there is a sandpit, play gym, water play, mini basketball, trampoline jumping, painting, bubbles.
There are many activities for each child to explore individual interests and abilities. Some days we’ll join our other Family Day Care friends at playgroup, then there will be other days where we will stay at home playing and engaging in pretend play maybe camping in the yard with a real tent!
In our home we like to provide a comfortable and safe environment where each individual child feels special.
