My Values |
|
I feel it is important to speak positively to all children to help build up their self esteem and independence. I try to create and maintain a healthy and safe environment so children in my care can explore, learn, experiment and develop to their full potential. I also believe it’s important to treat each child as equals so that children are not discriminated against on the basis of gender, race, religion, ability, language or culture.
I value
relationships and feel that it is important to develop a trust
between children and their families. |

A day in my care |
|
Play is a valuable experience; children develop in all areas of development through play. I have younger children in my care so I am very flexible as I cater for the children’s needs and interests first. Excursions To the local library, Playgroup, and local park to feed the ducks. Inside construction toys, puzzles, books, dominoes, role playing, A.B.C educational programs to help children settle on arrival. Outside Play dough, sand play, painting or collage, cars and trucks, climbing on the fort, running and ball games, bubble blowing and chalk drawing. Music and Dancing Finger rhymes and nursery rhymes, I also play the guitar and sing to the children. Story and language Stories to cater for the children’s interest and to develop cognitive and language skills.
