My Values

I value family. As a mother of 3 children, I know exactly how it feels for mothers to decide about going to work and leaving their children in day care; and that is what leads me to do family day care.

The opportunity to work from home and to give assurance to working families, that while they are working their little angels will be well looked after in an environment similar to the comfort of their own home, is a comfort to me and to you.

Apart from helping and encouraging children through learning and social interactions, I believe that each child, whatever his or her religious or cultural background, deserves to be loved, respected, and to feel safe.  That is precisely what I am proud to say I can achieve through my family day care service.

Our home is always child friendly and my husband and I share the same passion for children since he came from a big family himself. I would not provide family day care if I did not have that passion to work with children. 

At the end of the day the satisfaction they give me outweighs everything, knowing that I have been part of a child’s growing up.

A day in my care

My programs include indoor and outdoor activities, where possible weekly playgroup, and on occasions special excursions depending on the age group of children in my care on that particular day. 

Outdoor activities include swings and slides, tunnel, sandpit, balls, water play to name a few.  Indoor activities will include painting, reading, puzzles, singing and dancing, dress ups, blocks and many more. 

Activities are age-appropriate and encourage learning and social integrations.

Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snack times are provided at appropriate times -- as well as rest times. 

I value the importance of family routine and I will try to keep as close to your child’s routine while s/he is in my care.
