My Values

While your children are in my care, I will endeavor to share my values and yours with each of them, some of these values include:

• To teach good morals and values this can be applied throughout the child’s entire life.

• Encourage children to participate in group activities, to help them learn to share and care and interact positively with other children and adults.

• Appreciate every child and uniqueness with their own personalities and I will work with your individual child to help them develop and bring these skills out.

• To teach healthy eating and exercise routines.

• For each and every child to feel safe, equal, loved and secure whilst developing a caring relationship with other children and myself.

My home will always be welcoming for your child as well as yourself and I know that when they go home, they will be looking forward to their next visit and wondering what new adventures it will bring.
 

A day in my care

We would start the day with some quite outdoor play until all the children were settled in. This would include activities like play dough, crafts, drawing and reading stories.

Afterwards it would be time to get active with some singing and dancing and lots of fun and games outside.

When we’ve worked up and appetite it will be time for morning tea followed by some indoor free play including dress ups, building with blocks or playing with a variety free choice toys.

Before lunch we will have a nice relaxing quiet time, reading stories and sing rhymes which are all good to develop their language and social skills.

After a nice social lunch time, it will be time for a quiet nap to rest the children minds and bodies ready for the afternoon session.

After a refreshing nap it’s time to play out side for the cooler part of the day. The children will have chance to play in the sand pit, read books have a try at some puzzles in the comfy shady area, climb, run, and play with balls.

We will do many local outings, once a week, to enhance the children’s development like; trips to the library, to the park for a picnic and to explore the different environments and learn new and exciting things.

I do understand that each individual child has their own values and routine and I will endeavour to do my best to fit all your requirements and your child’s needs and ensure their days are full of fun.
