My Values

Family is very important to me, and I like to think that the care I provide reflects this. I do love caring for babies, and watching them grow. I like to visit playgroup so that the children develop social skills in a larger group.

I also encourage my own children to interact with the day care children. As a result, there are lots of opportunities for interactions to occur in and outside the home.

The activities that I provide are always based on the developmental level and the interests of the child. I like to think that any decisions I make are in the best interests of the families and the children I have in care.

A day in my Care

A day in my care is filled with lots of cuddles, laughter, fun, play, and behavioural guidance. We start off the day with breakfast together, and then we all head off to drop my daughter Jackie off to school. Twice a week we go to playgroup.

On other days we play, we sing, we explore, and we dance at home. The children are able to move freely from indoors to outdoors as my veranda is fully fenced. The children have a sleep or a rest in the afternoons, and then we pick up my children from school.

After we arrive home, we have afternoon tea, and then the afternoon is filled with interactions between myself, my own children, and the Family Day Care Children.
